Start of a new chapter for Suresh Raina

India's prolific middle-order bat, Suresh Raina tied the knot with childhood friend Priyanka Chaudhary in a ceremony in New Delhi on Friday night.
India and Chennai Super Kings' captain, MS Dhoni along with his wife, Sakshi and ICC chairman N Srinivasan were the A-listers who graced the occasion. Raina's CSK team-mate Dwayne Bravo (West Indies), and coach Stephen Fleming were also present.
Raina also received good wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the joyous occasion. India vice-captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with the entire Indian cricket team were also on the esteemed guest list.
The bride and groom's families have known each other for a long time now and their family ties date back to days when Raina's and Priyanka's father used to worked together at an ordinance factory at Murad Nagar until the latter's family shifted to Meerut. While Priyanka's family hails from Baraut, she is said to have pursued her B.Tech from an engineering college at Ghaziabad and is currently working as an IT professional with a bank in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
