Krunal Pandya is a highly experienced Indian all-rounder known for his left-handed middle-order batting and highly economical slow left-arm orthodox spin. A proven match-winner and four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champion, he holds the unique distinction of being the first player in tournament history to win the Player of the Match award in two separate IPL Finals (2017 and 2025). On the international stage, he made an unforgettable impact by scoring a 26-ball 50 against England in 2021, setting the record for the fastest half-century by a debutant in ODI history.Pandya began his highly successful IPL career with the Mumbai Indians (MI), where he was an integral part of three championship-winning campaigns (2017, 2019, and 2020). After a stint with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) from 2022 to 2024, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured his services for ₹5.75 Crore during the 2025 mega auction. He immediately proved to be an invaluable addition, taking 17 wickets across the season to help RCB secure their historic maiden IPL title. In the 2025 Final against the Punjab Kings, he delivered a brilliant match-winning spell of 2/17. Across his stellar 142-match IPL career, he has amassed 1,756 runs and taken 93 wickets. Acknowledging his elite championship pedigree and vital all-round utility, RCB officially retained the veteran for the 2026 season.
