MatchesThe left-handed batter from West Indies, Sherfane Rutherford was picked by the RCB for his base price of INR 1 crore at the IPL Auction. Earlier, Sherfane Rutherford had struck gold in the IPL auctions before the 2019 season when he was signed up by Delhi Capitals for a salary of INR 2 crore. Though he did not have many telling performances in the limited opportunities that he got with the Delhi Capitals, Rutherford did come with a reputation of big hits in the middle-order. In 2021, after his brilliant season with the Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League, Sherfane replaced Jonny Bairstow in the SRH squad. For 2022 he will be donning the red and gold.
