MatchesA member of India’s 2018 U19 World Cup-winning squad, Riyan Parag was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs. 20 lakhs in the third and final round of the player auction before IPL 2019. Son of former Assam state cricketer Parag Das and national record holder swimmer Mithu Baruah, Riyan can hit the ball hard. The right-handed batter made his IPL debut in 2019 and now holds the record of being the youngest to score an IPL fifty. RR have a lot of faith in his abilities. He can hit the ball long, play the role of a finisher and chip in with useful spinners as well. RR bought him back at the mega auction ahead of the 15th edition for a whopping Rs. 3.8 crore. He responded by scoring 183 runs at a healthy strike-rate of 138.64. Ahead of the 2023 season, he was retained by the franchise. He would look to set the stage on fire again with his passion and aggression.
