MatchesMystery spinner KC Cariappa rose to fame because of innumerable variations in his bowling skillset and ability to bamboozle batters with his spin acumen. He made his debut with the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2015, and later, was part of the Kings XI Punjab set up. He came back to KKR when he was roped in as one of the replacements for injured pacers Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi in 2019. He joined the RR camp in 2021 when the franchise bought him for Rs. 20 lakhs in the 2021 auction and was picked up again by RR for Rs. 30 lakhs ahead of the 15th season. He was retained ahead of the 2023 auction. He would be looking to make the most of the opportunities he gets.
