28-year old wicketkeeper-batter from Andhra’s claim to fame is his triple century against Goa in the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy that included 38 boundaries and six sixes. In the process, he became only the fifth player in the history of India’s First-Class cricket to score a triple century as a wicketkeeper and the first to do so in Ranji Trophy. Bharat has the reputation of playing a wide array of strokes and is known for his aggressive nature of batting and that was on display when he represented the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021. A fine wicketkeeper, KS Bharat, also made his presence behind the stumps in the IPL 2021 and impressed one and all when he was on the field as a substitute wicketkeeper during India’s Test against New Zealand. He has been bought by the Delhi Capitals for INR 2 Cr in the auction and KS Bharat will be keen to make his mark for the franchise in the TATA IPL 2022.
