MatchesOne of India’s premier fast bowlers, Mohd. Siraj has carved his rise through persistence and impact across formats. He first caught attention in the 2016/17 Ranji Trophy season, finishing as Hyderabad’s leading wicket-taker with 43 wickets in nine matches at an average of 18.92. That breakout campaign earned him a TATA IPL contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017 for INR 2.6 Crore. Siraj moved to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2018, where he developed into a key figure in their attack over seven seasons. During this phase, he also established himself as a go-to powerplay bowler for both RCB and India in white-ball cricket. His evolution into a tireless workhorse has been particularly evident in Tests. Gujarat Titans secured Siraj for INR 12.25 crore at the 2025 Mega Auction. He delivered 16 wickets in 15 matches, including a career-best 4/17. With close to 200 international wickets and titles in India’s T20 World Cup-winning campaigns in 2024 and 2026, Siraj remains a high-impact presence in GT’s pace attack.
