After plying his trade for RCB and later RR, Jaydev Unadkat will now be seen in MI colours. He has had a massive pay cut as this time and Unadkat will be keen to deliver impressive performances, which will again enable him to climb up the ladder. Having played over 85 IPL games, Unadkat has enough experience and has been in enough pressure situations. He will been keen to repeat his performances of the 2017 IPL season where he claimed 24 wickets from 12 matches for the Rising Pune Supergiant. With 11 wickets in 15 games in IPL 2018, Unadkat was probably bogged down by the expectation of a high salary he received at the IPL Player Auction 2018. However, after being released initially, RR bought him back for INR 8.4 crore at the auction prior to the 2019 season, showing faith in his ability. He has had successful outings at the Wankhede Stadium and will look to put his team in winning positions.
