Rajasthan Royals quite literally broke the bank to acquire the services of this Indian quick. In an intense bidding war for the fast bowler from Karnataka, RR had to eventually shell out a whopping INR 10 crore. He happens to be their biggest buy this season. Prasidh, who had set his base price at INR 1 crore, attracted bids from new teams Lucknow and Gujarat, who clearly wanted him in their ranks to shore up their bowling. Prasidh made his IPL debut for KKR in 2018 and featured in 7 games, picking 10 wickets with a 4-wicket haul to go along with it. He did not have an impressive season in 2019 picking just 4 wickets in 11 games. However, his raw pace and wicket-taking abilities earned him an ODI national call-up in 2021. A key component of KKR’s pace battery, Prasidh picked 12 wickets from 10 games in the 14th edition of IPL.
