Harshit Rana, a Delhi-born all-rounder, brings a blend of pace and lower-order hitting to the table. Known for his bustling run-up and ability to generate bounce, Rana was identified early by Kolkata Knight Riders, making his TATA IPL debut even before featuring in domestic cricket across formats. He made an instant impression, dismissing Mitchell Marsh in his very first IPL outing. He soon backed that promise with strong performances in domestic cricket. In his maiden first-class season, Rana picked up 21 wickets at an average of 26.66, and also showcased his batting ability with an unbeaten 122 for North Zone in the Duleep Trophy. His all-round performances earned him a place in India’s setup, where he has featured across all three formats and claimed close to 40 international wickets. For KKR, Rana has developed into a key wicket-taking option, claiming 34 wickets across the last two IPL seasons.
