About

Trent Boult is one of the best in the business. He has been a core part of the New Zealand team over the years and brings a lot of experience to the table. The left-arm pacer made his IPL debut in 2015 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. 2018 was his breakout season where he scalped 18 wickets from 14 matches playing for the Delhi Capitals. Boult was an exciting addition to MI’s squad in the 2020 season and was truly sensational in the 13th edition, sharing the new ball with Jasprit Bumrah. He picked up 25 wickets from 15 matches and played a key role in helping MI win the title. After two years with MI, Boult joined RR, who broke the bank for the Kiwi pacer, snapping his services for Rs. 8 crore at the IPL 2022 auction. After Prasidh Krishna and Shimron Hetmyer, Boult was RR’s third-most expensive buy. He picked up 16 wickets from 16 matches in IPL 2022. He was retained by RR ahead of the 2023 auction. Boult is also an amazing fielder and has taken some of the most astounding catches. He will again be a crucial part of the RR pace line-up.
