After a few seasons with PBKS and CSK, Sam Curran is now part of the Rajasthan Royals setup for TATA IPL 2026. The English all-rounder was IPL 2023’s most expensive buy at INR 18.5 CR. The left-arm seamer’s ability to bowl at any stage of the game and his attacking batting make him a valuable asset in T20 cricket. Curran has played 140 matches across formats for England and was even awarded the Player of the Tournament in England’s title-winning run at the T20 World Cup 2022. CSK secured him for INR 2.4 Crore at the 2025 TATA IPL Auction, and despite playing only five matches last season, he still managed to produce a top score of 88 with some brilliant ball-striking. Curran continues to be an integral part of England’s white-ball teams and was even instrumental in their run to the semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
