Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka is known for his explosive batting lower down the order and handy medium-pace bowling. The right-hander also led Sri Lanka in white ball formats and has played several important knocks, with one of his most memorable coming against Australia in 2022, where he scored a match-winning unbeaten 54 off 25 balls. Shanaka was the team's skipper during their 3-2 ODI series win against Australia on that tour. He was a part of Gujarat Titans' squad in IPL 2023 and has featured in 3 games. IPL 2025 sees him come in as a replacement player in place of Glenn Phillips.
