Amidst the carnage, Shardul Thakur stood out as the pick of the bowlers. He claimed the crucial wickets of Allen, Cameron Green (18 off 10), and Rahane, finishing with highly impactful figures of 3 for 39 from his four overs. Jasprit Bumrah also displayed remarkable control, conceding just 35 runs in his wicketless four-over spell.

Rohit rolled back the years with an authoritative 78 off 38 deliveries. His spectacular knock, studded with six boundaries and six towering maximums, brought up his 50th fifty-plus score in IPL history. At the other end, Rickelton validated his selection with a match-winning 81 off 43 balls. Vaibhav Arora finally provided KKR a breakthrough by dismissing Rohit, and a brilliant piece of fielding from Anukul Roy resulted in Rickelton’s run-out.
