MEDIA ADVISORY: Code of Conduct Breach
Dwayne Bravo from the Gujarat Lions team was fined 50% of his match fee for breaching the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Mumbai Indians at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur last evening.
Mr Bravo admitted the Level 2 offence (Article 2.2.7) for inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a player in the course of play during a match.
For Level 2 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
