Prasanth Parameswaran made his List A debut for Kerala in February 2007. Since then, he has also gone on to represent Kerala in first-class and Twenty20 cricket. Prasanth is a left-arm medium-pacer, who has posted a career best of 6 for 35 in a List A game. He played for the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in IPL 2011. Back then, Parameswaran set the dubious record of bowling the most expensive over in the IPL, when Chris Gayle creamed him for 37 runs. In IPL 2012, he suited up for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as a replacement for the injured S Aravind. He will continue to be in the RCB squad for IPL 2013.
