|Bowls||Left-arm orthodox spin|
|DOB||27 January 1979|
One of the most economical bowlers in limited-overs cricket, Daniel Vettori has, for a decade, been one of the strongest pillar on which New Zealand Cricket stands. The 34-year-old Kiwi played for the Delhi Daredevils during the first three seasons of the IPL. He was bought by the Bangalore franchise at the 2011 IPL Player Auction and was named the captain. He led the Royal Challengers Bangalore to the final of IPL 2011 and 2011 CLT20. Vettori has been playing international cricket for over 15 years, but batsmen are still unable to read him accurately. An orthodox left-arm spinner, he can toss the ball up, bowl flat, use the crease and can even get the ball to skid after it pitches. He has one of the best arm-balls in contemporary cricket.
