Callum Ferguson is an explosive middle-order batsman from South Australia. A stint in the English county circuit in 2008 transformed him into consistent a run-getter. Soon, Cricket Australia offered him a central contract and he was even awarded his first Australia cap – against New Zealand in 2009. However, just as he was about to seal his spot in the Australian one-day side, he suffered a knee injury that forced him out of action for quite some time. Although he’s back in action, he is yet to rediscover his old touch. He will turn out for the Pune Warriors in IPL 2012 and he will hope to put together a few noteworthy performances.
