Mohammed Shami’s ability to swing the ball and accuracy made him a vital cog in the Indian lineup since his debut in 2013. The medium pacer, who made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bengal against Assam in November 2010, was signed up by the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011. On his ODI debut, in a low-scoring, high-pressure match against Pakistan in Delhi, he returned match-winning figures of 9-4-23-1. He became the first Indian to bowl four or more maiden overs on debut. Shami, who was been part of the Daredevils squad in 2015 but did not play a game due to injury, will be looking to make a mark in the 2016 season.
