Australian fast bowler Douglas Bollinger wasn’t in the Chennai Super Kings’ initial scheme of things. However, since being called up as a replacement for the injured Jacob Oram ahead of IPL 2010, Bollinger has gone on to become a permanent fixture in the franchise’s line-up. The 6’3” New South Wales left-arm pacer can swing the ball, generate bounce off good length and bowl yorkers at an alarming frequency – just like his hero Wasim Akram. A quirky character, he helps lighten the mood in the dressing room by keeping his teammates entertained.
