He is one of the many Indian bowlers who gained immensely from sharing the Delhi Daredevils dressing room with former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath. Yo Mahesh has the uncanny ability to extract a surprising amount of bounce with his quick arm action. Apart from his swing bowling, Yomi is also a capable lower-order batsman. The 24-year-old, who plays for Tamil Nadu in the domestic cricket circuit, was signed by the Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2011.
