Mumbai franchise wins owners clash against RCB by 28 runs

The Mumbai Indians reigned supreme at the Chinnaswami Stadium in Bengaluru on May 14. After the team defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a thrilling contest, their owners’ team doubled up the celebration with a 28-run win over their RCB counterparts.

The star of the match was Arjun Tendulkar. He scored 25 runs off 13 balls before retiring as per the rules. He even struck with the ball by taking a wicket. Rishi Joshi was another MI owners’ batsman who contributed the maximum score of 25 (off 10 balls). Due to some solid batting display, MI owners notched up 119 for two in their stipulated 10 overs.

RCB owners were up against a stiff target and the pressure got to them from the beginning as they lost two quick wickets. Anu Malik, the renowned Bollywood music director hit all the right straps with the ball, picking up three wickets for MI owners. Captain Sidharth Mallya was the top-scorer for the RCB owners team with 18 runs.

Arjun Tendulkar was the Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance. His proud parents – Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar – watched the proceedings from the dugout.
