You have seen IPL matches before. What’s the experience been like?
Yes, I have and it’s been a fantastic experience. The crowds, the noise and the excitement that surrounds the drama on the pitch is addictive.
Which IPL cricketer would you go out on a date with and why?
Sachin Tendulkar – he’s accomplished so much. I would love to understand how he’s managed to stay at the top of the game for so long!
Which cricketer’s sense of style do you admire most?
There are so many – Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Kevin Pietersen. There are quite a few stylish players out there.
Which part of the IPL experience do you enjoy most?
Watching a match live with the enthusiastic crowds for company. It’s an awesome experience.
You’ve been up against a host of international beauty queens in your pageant days, just like the IPL players match their skills with the toughest competitors. What is Miss World’s secret to winning the crown?

What is it that you enjoy about the IPL?
There’s never a dull moment in the competition. It’s like an action movie that starts with a climax and ends with one.
You are the darling of the masses and the box-office. You have been involved with cricket through CCL. Tell us about your experiences with the sport.
Cricket strikes a chord with the common man, just like our films. I like the thrill and pace of T20.
What would be your advice to young cricketers looking to make their mark in IPL 2012?
Be committed, work hard and have a blast. If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong. It’s a T20 game – you’ve got to turn on the volume full blast and rock the stage. Try to give your best performance every time you get on that field. There’s no time to waste. Get going; analyse later.
Who, according to you, is the Salman Khan of cricket?
I’m happy to be the Salman Khan of cricket but no team will have me.
