South African Albie Morkel is in second place with 174 Twenty20 appearances. 60 Piyush Chawla took his 60th wicket in his IPL career when he bowled Manvinder Bisla. He became the sixth bowler to reach the 60-wicket mark after Lasith Malinga, Munaf Patel, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha and Amit Mishra. Chawla now has a tally of 62 wickets in 59 IPL matches.

Amit Mishra and Shane Warne jointly lead the dubious list with seven ducks each. 5 Sunil Narine returned the career best figures of five for 19. His previous best was four for nine for Trinidad & Tobago against Leeward Islands at North Sound on January 11, 2012. He also became the third bowler after Ravindra Jadeja (five for 16) and Dimitry Mascarenhas (five for 25) to take five wickets in a match in IPL 2012.
3 Number of dismissals effected by Manvinder Bisla. He became only the second wicketkeeper after Robin Uthappa to effect three or more dismissals in IPL 2012. 2 The two-run win by Kings XI Punjab is the sixth occasion in the IPL when a team has won by two runs or less. Interestingly, three of them have been recorded by Kings XI Punjab – they beat the Mumbai Indians (in 2008) and Deccan Chargers (in 2009) by one run.
