South African Albie Morkel is a right arm fast-medium bowler and a left-handed batsman. In the Afro-Asia Cup, 2007, he opened the bowling for Africa with his brother, Morne. The Morkels thus became only the second set of brothers to open the bowling together in ODIs, after the Suji siblings of Kenya.
