Troubling batsmen with tight line and length, Ajitesh Argal is an effective medium-pace bowler He played for his state Madhya Pradesh at the Under-14 level. His first tour with the India U-19 team was the 2008 World Cup in Malaysia, where he played brilliantly under pressure. He formed one half of an effective new-ball attack and was given the Man-of-the Match in the finals for his spell of 2 for 7 which ultimately broke the South African run-chase and India came victorious.
